Calamari & Prawn Salad

Mixed Salad Leaves
Prawns
Calamari (Squid)
Cherry Tomatoes
Carrot
Parsley
Salt
Olive Oil
Drizzle of Fresh Lemon




Something quick to do for the healthy lot!



  1. First of all, boil some fresh calamari in very slightly salted water. When the calamari turns white, it is cooked, so drain the water and add very cold water or ice to cool it down quickly.
  2. Wash your salad leaves to ensure there's no natural dirt.
  3. Chop 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes into quarters and add them to a bowl with the salad leaves.
  4. Peel a raw carrot and cut it finely so you have small strips. Also add this to the bowl.
  5. Then add a handful of small prawns and the cooked calamari which should be cold.
  6. Season with a pinch of salt, a drizzle of olive oil and some fresh lemon juice.
  7. Chop some parsley and sprinkle it on top as it goes well alongside the fish.
