Smoked Salmon Blinis

Smoked Salmon
Horseradish
Blinis (or crumpets or just bread)
Ketchup
Butter
Lemon Slices






Starter Portion for Two






  1. Start by grilling your blinis, around five per person. When they're toasted, leaving them aside.
  2. In mean time, squirt some ketchup (roughly 3 tablespoons) in a small bowl and mix with a teaspoon of horseradish. Mix the two ingredients well and have a taste to make sure the balance is right.
  3. Butter your blinis, add a slice of smoked salmon and a dollop of horseradish on the top.
  4. Decorate the plate with your ketchup and horseradish mix so that you can dip your smoked salmon blinis in the sauce. 
  5. Add some lemon slices as the lemon juice brings out the flavour of the salmon and serve up whilst the blinis are still warm.
